The great commission to all believers is to reach and affect as many people with the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ. New Testament style simple but effective evangelism will find it hard going in the 21st century, purely because of cultural and traditional differences between both times; and the massive changes in social mobility.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The advent of information technology has changed the way people traditionally communicate and socialize and some would say for the worst. Emerging media of communication like smart phones, internet, and social networks sites now means more people communicate online in internet communities than ever. The message of the Gospel has not changed but the way it is communicated through the centuries has and like many Christians we aim to maximize and convert the potential of internet and social networks to the benefit of the Kingdom of God.
We continue to find other ways apart online communities to reach people and share the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ.
We are constantly seeking to improve our approach to evangelism and outreach; the bedrock of that approach is prayer. Experience has shown that some peoples’ minds are impervious to the Gospel message or when they hear the name Jesus mentioned they take offence. We believe that a strong aversion to the Gospel indicates the presence of hostile spiritual forces at work.
